Internship Description
D'Leon Consulting Engineers is looking for qualified paid internship candidates interested in the field of civil engineering in the transportation, Metro rail, construction management and aviation fields.
Tasks may include:
- Drafting in AutoCAD and MicroStation (utilities, track, roadway improvements, ..)
- Contribution to engineering reports
- Field investigation
- Cost estimating
- Third-party coordination support (exhibit preparation, logistics tracking, etc)
Requirements:
- Interest in public transportation projects and familiarity with relevant LA infrastructure and current events/issues
- Microsoft Excel, Word
- MicroStation v8i
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Technical Report Writing
- Graduating within 1 year
At this time, positions are remote, though occasional office visits are encouraged. Candidate must have access to reliable transportation to the office and job sites (Long Beach, LA County). This position requires a minimum 15 hours/week time commitment.
Based on performance, each candidate will also have the opportunity to have a full time position that includes benefits and bonuses.
