JOB DESCRIPTION: Under supervision, the qualified candidate will provide administrative and occasional field support to the Water Quality Department. Responsibilities of this position include both administrative (e.g., organizing, filing, sorting, documenting, composing, digitizing, computing, etc.) and will assist with routine outdoor field work (e.g., surface water and groundwater sample acquisition, depth to groundwater measurements, field meter measurements, sample deliveries to laboratories, etc.) throughout the Santa Ana River watershed and primarily in the north/central Orange County area. Other duties of a similar nature or level may be assigned, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, accredited Bachelor or Graduate degree program with emphasis in physical, life or engineering sciences, environmental studies, and/or related fields.
