I am a UCSD Structural Engineering student seeking a summer internship from June – Sept 2022.  As my profile illustrates, I believe I am well-prepared to meet and exceed your expectations. Having started my 3rd year as an engineer student, I am accustomed to the rigors of fast-paced, highly regulated environments requiring sharp attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills. Engineer Assistant Internship
Jul 2021 - Sep 2021 US Embassy Australia

Supported lead project manager during final stages of construction of the new U.S. Consulate in Sydney, Australia. Provided support in program management and design of new facilities.  Coordinated construction project assignments and made recommendations to contracting officers.  Organized meetings, prepared progress information, and participated in planning sessions. Reviewed, interpreted, and checked engineering drawings, and other specifications to ensure compliance.  Recognized errors, ambiguities, or omissions and provided corrective recommendations. Applied quality control and quality assurance practices and procedures to projects and equipment. Utilized computer software to manage projects and fiscal control.
