WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Under close supervision, assists assigned department(s) and/or project(s) by performing basic engineering-related tasks which may reflect elements of standard post-secondary engineering curriculum, usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.
Our Los Angeles, Wasco and LAX (CA) offices seek Intern Engineers for Summer 2022 in the following areas: Construction Management, Aviation, Transit, Rail, Highway, and Transportation Planning.
Relocation and housing are NOT provided for these positions.
Primary Focus Will Include:
Perform basic engineering calculations
Organize information for use in drawings or other documents
Assist other engineers in various tasks and duties
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Completion of 2 years of post-secondary Civil Engineering program
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience
Strong interest in the transportation industry
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential Responsibilities:
Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
